Triple Peaks by the late British author John Glasby, is his vintage western historical action adventure novel free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press’ Pioneering imprint.

This was originally published in 1966 by John Spencer using the title High Vengeance and the pseudonym Chuck Adams, and was later reprinted by F. A. Thorpe using the pseudonym Glen Norten as part of their Linford Western Library line. The story pits a resourceful stealth-outlaw who moved into an area where his reputation was unknown in order to take advantage of the townspeople, alongside other like-minded bandits, against the local lawyer who suspects they’re up to no good and summons an old friend to help him sort out the matter.

The story is centred around a couple on the run due to a woman breaking her fiancé out of jail after he was mistakenly arrested while interrupting a robbery, trying to clear his name and get justice by hunting down the gang responsible for their hometown’s woes.

Description
