This was originally published in 2003 by Sarob Press.

The collection reprints 10 short stories and novelettes spanning Tubbs’ decades-long career from the 1950s to the 1990s, with tales that originally appeared in genre magazines such as Science Fantasy and Supernatural Stories, with a retrospective introduction by editor Philip Harbottle.

Trollnight by British author Peter Tremayne, perhaps best known as the author of the popular Sister Fidelma historical mystery series, is his standalone creature feature horror thriller, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press’ Venture imprint.

Demons by Daylight by British author Ramsey Campbell, a frequent recipient of the British Fantasy and Bram Stoker Awards, is his vintage collection of psychological & supernatural horror short stories, free again for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press’ Venture Press imprint.

This was originally published in 1973 by Arkham House. This was the 2nd collection released of his shorter works (and is apparently worth quite a lot of money in its original printing) which, according to the author, saw him moving away from his earlier Lovecraftian roots and experimenting with a style more influenced by literary novelist Vladimir Nabokov. These disturbing psychological horror and supernatural thriller tales are mostly set in a reality almost, but not quite, like our own.

This was originally published in 1980 by Hamlyn using the pseudonym Mark Ronson. The story apparently incorporates some Celtic folklore, and is set in a small village which believes itself to be beset by a plain old serial killer—blaming the newcomer lead character accordingly—only to discover that it has fallen prey to a monster far older and much worse.
