This story stars a young clan lord, who has lost his purpose after gaining revenge upon those who killed his family and stole his birthright, finding it again upon a quest to help restore another displaced heir to her lost citadel, which is currently possessed by the demon representative of a greater evil they must work together to banish.

This installment deals with the aftermath of one such successful previous restoration quest, whose rightful heir has now fallen prey to the corruption of the artifact and has become a paranoid tyrant, kicking off a new quest for the backup spare heir, who is now the only remaining hope for the kingdom wracked by civil war.
