[Free eBook] Sean O’Casey: A Life by Garry O’Connor [20th C Irish Political Playwright Biography]

Sean O’Casey: A Life by British author Garry O’Connor, an award-winning playwright and novelist also known for his theatre biographies, is his biography of the titular late Irish playwright, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press.

This was originally published in 1988 by Hodder & Stoughton.

This biography apparently focuses on the early/mid-20th century Irish playwright and memoirist Séan O’Casey‘s reinvention of his identity as he embraced his national heritage and mingled political and social consciousness with his creative work, becoming the first to write plays about Dublin working class folk, among other pioneering contributions to drama.

Offered worldwide, available at Amazon.
