Into the Woods by Ireland resident expat American author Tana French, who has been referred to as “the First Lady of Irish Crime”, is the 1st novel in the Dublin Murder Squad series of contemporary police procedural murder mysteries, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Penguin Random House Audio.

The Wolves of Craywood by V. J. Banis, aka Victor J. Banis, a pioneering 1960s LGBT pulp author who also wrote across multiple genres, is a standalone contemporary gothic suspense/horror novel with f/m romantic elements, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press.
This was originally published in 1970 by Lancer Books using the pseudonym Jan Alexander.
The story takes place at Cray Manor, where a series of brutal, beastly killings have reawakened local belief in werewolves, and the fiancée of one of the Cray brothers calls upon her sister for help, only to find her sister blaming the brothers for the killings as the insanity escalates, and herself seemingly marked for death as well.
