The series is set in modern-day Italy, centred around two brothers, who are a crime reporter and a criminal lawyer, respectively, and is very popular in its original country, said to have a literary noir flavour with many Italian cultural references.

This adventure takes place in Sicily, and sees the reporter brother finding dead a wrongfully imprisoned man he was intending to interview and is himself accused of the murder, which his criminal lawyer brother and a policeman must clear him of, by delving into the victim’s past, which puts them on the dangerous trail of a prominent man’s secrets.
